Nathan defends hospitals, medical practice groups, doctors, and other healthcare professionals at every stage of litigation. Nathan joined Bleeke Dillon Crandall in 2017, and has successfully defended clients in professional licensing matters, before medical review panels, and through litigation in state court, federal court, and on appeal. He also defends entities and healthcare providers in the correctional setting in medical malpractice and civil rights actions.
Prior to joining Bleeke Dillon Crandall, Nathan was a law clerk at Ice Miller and a certified legal intern at the Indiana Office of the Attorney General. With the AG, Nathan assisted in national Qui Tam litigation and criminal Medicaid fraud prosecutions. He also represented the Attorney General’s Office before the Medical Licensing Board, Dental Board and Nursing Board.
Nathan graduated from the Indiana University, Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana in 2017. In law school, he advanced to the final rounds of the moot court competition and was a mentor for first year law students.
Nathan graduated from Butler University in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and Spanish. While at Butler University, Nathan was the President of the Inter-Fraternity Counsel, worked as a professional first-aid instructor, and taught English classes to Hispanic immigrants and Burmese refugees. In his free time, Nathan plays drums for local musicals and concerts, and enjoys traveling with his wife, a middle school choir teacher.
